Jacob M. Stephens
Jacob Stephens is a seasoned trial lawyer who has successfully represented businesses and individuals in state and federal courts throughout Texas. Known for his strategic litigation skills, Jacob has handled a broad spectrum of complex commercial disputes, particularly within the real estate, construction, banking, and insurance industries.
His proven track record has earned him repeated recognition as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers (Thomson Reuters) in the area of business litigation every year from 2014 through 2023.
Jacob’s clients include insurance agencies, real estate owners, brokers, agents, property management companies, and healthcare providers. He has extensive experience litigating matters involving the Texas Insurance Code, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), real estate and title disputes, professional liability, breach of contract, collections, negligence, premises liability, fraud, fiduciary duty, trade secret misappropriation, and employment-related claims including non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
In addition, Jacob is a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, reflecting his deep involvement in the construction law field.
